My city is "under a state of calamity"!!

Since last Saturday we don't have electricity here because of the typhoon 'jolina' who hits the Visayan region.. Now the mayor place the city under a state of calamity. Power down!!! So I was not able to be online...

As of Monday, Jolina left trail of devastation in 29 city villages and affected some 2,898 families in Jaro and La Paz districts. Mayor, ordered a suspension of classes in both districts.

The city mayor recommended to the council the declaration of a state of calamity based on the initial report of the local disaster coordinating council.

The City Social Welfare and Development Office reported that the typhoon destroyed seven houses and damage five others.

Similarly, a total of 129 families were evacuated in 12 evacuation centers.

Now typhoon jolina gone.. another typhoon comes!!! For a week now.. Mr sun still hiding..
