Good Friday procession

This is a late post, every good friday we have procession in our place..The procession start at 4pm and  end at around 6pm.

Maybe thats all I can post, got many here!!

Holy Week Good Friday @ Bala-an Bukid (Sacred Mountain)

I'm so sorry I was not here for four days, I was in my hometown, for vacation and celebrating the Holy week. I will get back to my old routine, visiting blog, drop EC, adgitizing and commenting :) Thank you to those who still visit me..

Holy Week is the last week of Lent.  Holy Week is the same in the eastern and western Church, but because eastern Christians use the Julian Calendar to calculate Easter, the celebrations occur at different times. However, the following events in the week before Easter are the same, east and west, relative to the date of Easter:

• Palm Sunday (or Passion Sunday), the entrance of Jesus into Jerusalem.
• Holy Thursday (or Maundy Thursday), the institution of Communion and the betrayal by Judas.
• Good Friday, the arrest, trial, crucifixion, death, and burial of Jesus Christ.
• Holy Saturday, the Sabbath on which Jesus rested in the grave.

During Good Friday we went to  mountain as our tradition, as we say the  novena of Way of the Cross.. .as we pass by along the mountain i take some pic..

We woke up at 4:30 am and walk for 1 and half hour..Some vendor are already there before the day.. There are many tourist who comes. They sleep along the road..
