Crying!!
Tears are salty, watery secretions produced by the eye's lachrymal glands. The main job of tears is to keep the eyes constantly moist. Moisture is important to maintain transparency of the cornea ( the front part of the eyeball) and to prevent ulceration.
By lubricating the surface of the eye, tears aid movement of the eyelids in blinking. Tears also wash away small foreign bodies that enter the eye; and they contain a natural antiseptic. of course, tears function is expressing emotion- a trait exhibited only by humans.

A nosy look at body odor
The culprits are sweat and bacteria. Sweat doesn't smell when it first comes out of the skin. The odor comes only when bacteria on the skin's surface break down the fat and ferment the sugar in sweat to form chemicals that smell.
Notice the odors most foul usually emanate from armpits and groin- the apocrine glands in this areas produce the necessary ingredients for bacteria to works on. Sweat from other areas on the body is mainly salt, water, nourishment the microscopic finds don't really relish.
Feet are an exception. Many hours of warm, moist and airless conditions suit bacteria and fungi just fine. This explains smelly feet. Now if you gorge on garlic-loaded pizza or spicy delicacies, don't be surprised if you reek of pungency.
The most effective treatment is still good ol' hygiene. Wash thoroughly with soap and water at least once a day. After washing, use a good deodorant with anti-perspirant to prevent sweat from reaching the surface of the skin. Change clothes and underwear regularly. And watch what you eat.

Why do we yawn?
When you are tired, sleepy, sitting in a stuffy room, or simply bored, you breath more slowly. When breathing slows down, your lungs aren't able to bring enough oxygen your body needs or get rid of carbon dioxide efficiently. As the level of carbon dioxide in the blood builds up. your brain is alerted and sends a signal to your lungs to take extra deep breath called yawn.
A yawn makes you breathe in oxygen very deeply, and breathe carbon dioxide fully. Hooooo humm.. grrr now im yawning :)

Too Good to be true
uh uh uh uh refugee camp, conspireacy theory, what what, yo
You're just too good to be true
can't take my eyes off of you
you'd be like heaven to touch
I wanna hold you so much
at long last love has arrived
and I thank God I'm alive
you're just too good to be true
can't take my eyes off of you
Pardon the way that I stare
there's nothing else to compare
the sight of you leaves me weak
there are no words left to speak
but if you feel like I feel
please let me know that it's real
you're just too good to be true
can't take my eyes off of you
chorus:
I need you baby and if it's quite alright
I need you baby to warm the lonely nights
I love you baby, trust in me when I say:ok(its okaay)
Oh pretty baby, don't let me down, I pray
oh pretty baby, now that I've found you, stay
and let me love you, o baby, let me love you, o baby
You're just too good to be true
can't take my eyes off of you
you'd be like heaven to touch
I wanna hold you so much
at long last love has arrived
and I thank God I'm alive
you're just too good to be true
can't take my eyes off of you
chorus:
I need you baby and if it's quite alright
I need you baby to warm the lonely nights
I love you baby, trust in me when I say its ok
Oh pretty baby, don't let me down, I pray
oh pretty baby, now that I've found you, stay
and let me love you, o baby, let me love you, o babyy
I need you baby and if it's quite alright
I love you baby, you warm the lonely nights
I need you baby, trust in me when I say its ok
Oh, oh pretty baby, don't let me down, I pray
oh pretty baby, now that I've found you, stay

The great of water..
Eight is the magic number when it comes to water consumption. For decades, health and nutrition experts have championed drinking 8 ounces of water eight times a day. We get much of the water we need from the foods and beverages (other than water) that we consume. Health experts are downsizing their water recommendations to five or six 8-ounce glasses per day, but if you are physically active you need more at least 7-10 additional ounces for every 15-20 minutes of exercise.
Don't rely on your thirst as a guide when you are exercising. Athletes replace only two thirds of sweat losses.
- 17-20 ounces two to three hours before exercise
- 7-10 ounces 10-20 minutes before exercises
- 7-10 ounces 15-20 minutes during exercise
You may find it helpful to have bottled water within easy reach throughout the day. Keep a supply in your desk, in the rooms you frequent in your home, in your car, anywhere you are likely to see it.
If you exercise for periods longer than one hour or in extremely hot or dry environments, consider using a sports drink that also replenishes the sodium, potassium, chloride and magnesium that are lost through perspiration.
Don't forget to supply your children with a water bottle when you send them outside to play in the same way we view exercise, children burn up quite a bit of energy and can easily become dehydrated. So even if they are just outside playing catch or hitting a few baseballs, be sure to keep their water bottles full. The try the following exercise with them. Holding a push-up position is a great way to strengthen the entire body, arms, shoulders, back, abdominal, hips and legs.
Using a soft surface like a rug or an exercise mat, begin on your hands and knees. Place your hands directly under your shoulders, with your thumbs pointing at each other and your fingers angled in very slightly. Press your shoulders away from your ears so that your back muscles are engaged, and your neck is relaxed. Now carefully lift your knees off the floor, straighten your legs, and balance on the balls on your fee. Keep your abdominal muscles pulled in tight to support your back, and be sure not to hold your breath as you hold this position. Hold as long as you can without losing good form. Place your knees down, rest and repeat if desired.

Rx for Heart Attack patients: fish oil
Doctors are prescribing fish oil supplements for patients who have had a heart attack in the previous three months, unless they eat oily fish two to four times a week. The single gram, one a day treatment will be prescribed for life. The omega -3 fatty acids found in oily fish like salmon cut cardiac deaths by up to 43 percent. Study shows that eating fish just once a week can reduce the incidence of sudden cardiac death by 52 percent probably due to fish oil's ability to prevent arrhythmias. Cholesterol meds and implanted devices are norm- but it should be omega-3 instead. Some doctors don't encourage their patients to take the heart-healthy supplement. Instead, they usually recommend expensive and invasive treatments such as implantable defribrillators or pills to lower cholesterol.

Make the most of your looks.... whatever your age!
At the age of 20s:
By the your 20s, your skin should be looking its best-firm and supple, with few lines or signs of aging. Any spots of acne you had as a teenager would normally be clearing up. The normal changes of adolescence, which made your oil and sweat glands work overtime, should be settling down, but you may still find you have greasy hair. Puppy fat usually disappears as you enter your 20s and you develop a more womanly figure all too often a pear shaped one! This is when you may first notice the puckered "orange-peel" skin of cellulite on hips and thighs.
Get your beauty routine sorted out- it can make a difference sooner than you think. Too much sun, for example can add years to the way you look, so always use moisturizers with sunscreens.
treat greasy hair with mild shampoo. Perms have a drying effect on the hair and you may need conditioner to stop yours getting too dry and brittle. Improve the texture of your skin with regular scrubs and massages. If your nails are bitten and ragged, give yourself a regular manicure to neaten cuticles and keep surrounding skin smooth and neat. Carry an emery board with you and file any snags-before you attack them with your teeth.
At the age of 30s:
By your early 30s the first lines have appeared-usually around the eyes, on your forehead and between the brows- and they'll be deeper if you smoke or sunbathe. Shadows under the eyes will be more noticeable now. And if you're overweight, your jawline could sag, leading to double chin. Because your skin's also becoming dryer, and lines and wrinkles will look worse, although dryness by itself doesn't cause wrinkles.
hair should be in peak condition, especially if you bloom during pregnancy. But you may have first few grey hairs. Having children often improves hair and skin, but can also put on weight that's hard to shift and you can end up with varicose veins and stretch marks. Also, you may notice your burn and your bum and your boobs start to sag, especially if you don't exercise! So keep a close watch on your weight.
Use lots of moisturizer to plump up fine lines. Concealer helps hide shadows under the eyes, and you'll find blusher a godsend if you're looking tired. Hide the odd grey hair under a semo-permanent colourant. Keep control of your weight with a low fat diet and exercise regularly to tone the buttocks, inner thighs, upper arms and breats. Remember, going braless will make your boobs sag even sooner.
At the age of 40s:
By your 40s, any lines you have are deeper and turning into wrinkles. Your skin's probably drier and your pores look bigger. The bags and shadows under your eyes are more noticeable, your lips are losing some fullness and your neck is looking crepey. if you're inclined to get a double chin, it's more obvious now. Your skin is less elastic and has depressing habit of following gravity and drooping above the eyelids and jaw. If you've been a sun-worshipper, the effects are obvious now but its not too late for you to notice a difference if you give it up. Your hair is greyer and feels drier and coarser. This is when bunions can start to distort the shape of your feet if you haven't looked after them. Women are twice as likely as men to have foot problems because we wear fashionable rather than comfortable shoes. Your body is beginning to change shape because hormone levels drop as the menopause approaches and your metabolism shows down. Everything you use, including cleanser, suncare-even make-up should be rich enough to replace the oils lacking in your skin. Rethink your make up every five years as your colouring changes. Cover greying hair with a tint that's lighter that the clour your hair used to be, because your skin colour will also have changed. if your hair was dark at 25, a mid brown is more flattering at 45. And dont be tempted to cut short as a short haircut shows up flaws at your neck and chin.
At the age of 50s:
By your 50s, your face reflects five decades of thoughts and feelings in its expression lines and folds. it should still feel soft and supple, but it's now thinner and looser. It might sag around the eyes and between the nose and mouth, and have folds at the nape of the neck. Your eyes have probably become more long sighted. Unfortunately, your magnifying spectacles also magnify under eye bags and wrinkles. And lower hormone levels often cause more facial hair. You may have age spots-or liver spots on your hands. Theyre generally harmless, but consult your doctor if they change size, shape or colour. Your feet may be prone to dry, scaly skin, as well as corns and calluses caused by years of wearing ill-fitting shoes. Also, your toenalis may be looking thicker and more yellow. Make up can take years off you. use a light hand and damp sponge to put on a fine layer foundation. Avoid black mascara, frosted eyeshadows and bright colours as they'll make you look older. The skin on your body is noticeably drier by now, so avoid long, hot bubble baths. Use the shower more, or make your own cleopatra style milk baths with a cup of milk and capful of oil-great for relieving the itchiness of dry winter skin.

When quitting means winning
Giving up cigarettes is a frightening thought for many smokes. Non smokers who have never picked up the habit, find this hard to understand. Quitting smoking takes courage, conviction, and untold amounts of family patience and support. Smokers may quit many times before they quit for good. relapses should not be seen as failures.
Try this method for quitting:
- At once (cold turkey). Going cold turkey means to stop smoking completely on a certain date. This is the method that work best. Most ex-smokers, especially those who were addicted to nicotine, quit smoking this way. You should try this method first. Go on with other method if this doesn't work with you.
- Gradually This can be done either by the postponing or the reducing method. erither way, you should start smoking fewer cigarettes 7-14 days before you quit date. On your quit day, you shouldn't be smoking at all. The postponing methods means that every, you delay the time you smoke your first cigarette a little later until you can go through the whole day without smoking. You can also delay lightning up by a few minutes, each time you have an urge to smoke until you can do without that cigarette completely. The reducing method may mean smoking fewer cigarette each day until you are no longer smoking at all. Use a tally sheet to help you decide which cigarettes to cut out first. The reducing method can also mean smoking less of each cigarette everytime you light up, for example, only finishing half of a quarter before putting it up.
- Nicotine replacement therapy. The use of a nicotine patch can help lessen withdrawal symptoms experienced when you quit cold turkey. The nicotine in the patch passes through the skin into your body to help reduce your urge to smoke, This allow you to concentrate on dealing with the other aspects of smoking. Nicotine replacement theraphy is also available in other forms like gum, nasal spray, lozenge, and inhaler. The overall dose they provide is typically only one third to half of that from cigarette. This coupled with the absence of toxic tar and harmful gasses of cigarette smoke, gives them reassuring safety profile. Nicotine replacement theraphy is available only on prescription, soa sk your doctor for advice.

Wipe out !!
I read this joke upon drinking my coffee yesterday.. And i would like to share with you too.
A woman was unhappy with the way her laundry was done at the local laundry , so she wrote a not and put it in the bag with the next collection of soiled clothes: "Use more soap on panties!" She got the clean laundry back, and was still dissatisfied with the results, so the following week she enclosed another note: "Use more soap on panties!" The laundryman became annoyed, and when her clean laundry was delivered, it contained a note from him: "I use plenty soap on panties!!! Use more paper on ass!!! hehehe

Words for Quiet Moments
Only in middle adulthood did I begin to approach what Jean Leclerq would call " an asceticism of humor," It involves the most difficult self denial of all: you no longer take yourself too seriously. The days and nights no longer rotate around you, your heartache and your hiatal hernia, your problems and frustrations. You see yourself in perspective, as you really are, a creature wonderfully yet fearfully made, a bundle of paradoxes and contradictions. In brief, you can laugh at yourself and put your trust in Another. "Walter Burghardt, SJ."

Beauty scents to last
You have a favorite scent and you bought it. You love the way its fragrance is so light and fresh. But after a months pass, you notice that your cologne begins to smell heavy and its scent changes. That's because it react with heat. To keep your cologne's original scent, keep it away from direct sunlight and in a room that's cool and dry. To tone down the scent of cologne gone bad, dab unscented body lotion over the spot where you sprayed the fragrance.
Normally, your cologne will remain fresh smelling for a year. So if you won't be able to use it up that soon, you might want to consider keeping it in the fridge. Just make sure you don't mistake it for seasoning.
To make your fragrance last the whole day, use the soap version of your perfume for bathing. While warm your shower, put on body lotion ( again, of the scent of your perfume) then apply your cologne.
Lastly, spray some fragrance on your hands and run it through your hair.
No matter how much cologne you wear, remember though that what's even more important is that we are an aroma for Christ, who employs us to diffuse the fragrance of His knowledge edge everywhere. (2 Corinthians 2;14-15)

Should you keep secrets?
It's true, when a man and woman marry, the two become one. So does that mean you can't keep secrets from your spouse anymore? Some says that even marriage, people need boundaries and a certain amount of privacy. A wife doesn't automatically have the right to go through her husband's wallet or a husband to read his wife's emails unless permission has been granted.
Be aware that privacy in marriage all comes down to an issue of trust. Since your relationship with your spouse is unique from any other couple's, on;y both of you can tell when it's a betrayal of trust to keep something secret or, inversely, to intrude another's privacy.
As a guidelines, ask yourself the following questions when deciding when it's ok to keep a secret:
- Is the a harmless issue that I can keep to myself?
- Can I honestly justify why I'm withholding it from my partner?
- If my mate finds out about this, will it be a source of conflict?
- If my partner could see what I'm doing, would he or she be hurt or alarmed?

Soya diet may cut cancer pain
A diet in soya protein seems to reduce pain and swelling in laboratory mice. Researchers now suggest that it may help humans, too.
At present, managing chronic pains is different and tends to be based on morphine, which produces side effects such as constipation. This often become too painful for patients to tolerate.

How fires kill
Death caused by severe burns is only one fatal danger of fire fact, only about one-fourth of home fire victims die from arms. The rest die from inhaling smoke and poisonous gases or from lack of oxygen.
Smoke and poisonous gases can kill you long before the flames reach you. A sleeping person who inhales smoke and poisonous gases may never wake up, or may pass out as soon as he or she sits up to escape. Deadly gases-among them carbon monoxide-irritate the eyes and throat making escape difficult and cause you to breathe faster, thereby increasing your intake of other poisonous gases released by fire. Breathing superheated air, on the other hand, can cause rapid and severe lung damage.
Normally, the air we breathe is 21 percent oxygen. During a fire, that level drops rapidly. If it drops below 17 percent, people breathing the air will have difficulty thinking clearly and controlling their muscles. They may become irrational and uncoordinated, making escape more difficult. When the oxygen in the air drops into the 10 to 6 percent range, breathing stops. After four to six minutes without oxygen, brain death occurs.
