Folic Acid
Folic Acid is very essential for health. It is a vitamin essential for the production of genetic material and red blood cells; healthy pregnancy, protein metablolism, healthy bones, hair, nervous, digestive, and immune system. Good sources of folic acid include beef and chicken liver and dark green leafy vegetables, such as brocoli, spinach and others.
Doctors always recommend that all women take folic acid supplements before and during the pregnancy. Folic acid plays important role in the growth and development of the fetus. Folic acid is indicated for the prevention of folic acid deficiencies during pregnancy that may result to some abnormalities of the fetus.
Folic acid supplementation helps reduce the risk of cardiovascular and kidney diseases and prevents colorectal cancer. It is indicated for the prevention of exfoliative skin diseases, gingivitis, and malabsorption; it is also recommended to the patient with gout, elderly, those with gastrointestinal inflammation, and alcoholics.
It is recommended to take the folic acid together with vitamin B12 and Vitamin C for better absorption in the system. Vitamin C helps the folic acid not to easily break down into the body.

Break the marlboro's back
It takes two to quit. Quitting smoking is tough. Statistics show that between sixty and ninety percent of men who try to kick the habit start puffing again in less than a year. But there are study now that if you can stay away from cigarette for twenty four months, you're nearly home free. Smokers who give up cigarettes for at least two years have less than a four percent chance of relapsing.
Don't drink coffee or coke if you take creatine supplements; the drinks may negate the benefits you're after. Creatine has been shown to boost lean body mass improve athletic performance. But small amount of caffeine almost completely block the benefits of creatine.
This substances after the calcium levels in the body. While creatine makes more calcium available to muscles- improving their ability to flex, contract and grow- caffeine appears to have opposite, and stronger, effect of limiting calcium availability.

Nurturing yourself during pregnancy
The gist of nurturing yourself during pregnancy is treating yourself as if you were in the womb. Believing you have the right to be cared for by others, to be supported. Understanding how frightening and exhilarating it can be to open yourself to the new identity growing inside you, the identity as you as a mother. Grasping that your're in the midst of one of the biggest life transitions you will never experience, and at the end of this transformation, you are going to be called upon to do more giving than you have ever have, and for an extended period of time ( motherhood is about endurance.
If you're not good to yourself now, if you don't take time to replenish and enjoy yourself, how are you going to do it after the baby arrives? For veteran moms, it is already difficult to find time for yourself. But it is going to be exponentially more difficult after you add your new baby to your life's equation. So although you feel you should be putting all your focus on helping your baby adjust, some time and attention needs to be given to you, too.
What to do.
Loll in bed. Go to three movies in a row. Read a lots of books. Do only what you want as much as possible. Celebrate your freedom. This maybe your last time for many years (gulp). So repeat this phrases to yourself as many times as you can. Take it easy. Enjoy this time; it may never come again. Write this words down and carry them in your purse or bag. It helps to be reminded.
Talk to other pregnant women regularly. It is a huge comfort. Find a pregnancy ( and later mothering) mentor- a woman who has gone before you who has gone before you who can help you keep your perspective and perhaps your sense of humor. This can be particularly comforting for single moms and mothers trying to calculate the logistic combining day care and work schedules.
Don't hesitate to ask question to any member of the family.

Music on the womb
Fetuses can hear and respond to stimuli while they are still in the womb. But what does this mean for their future?
In a research a doctor played recorded music to unborn babies through high fedility stereo earphones placed on their mothers' abdomens. He later visited with the children regularly after birth and found out that, within eight months, some of these could imitate melodies of two or three notes.
You can see in all tv advertisement, that some kids in their toddler age have this gifted talent. There are some remarkable was the ability of some children to pick out , at two years old of age, simple tunes with one finger on the piano. Most young children bang randomly on keyboards.
Early and pre natal exposure to music has a positive effect- not just on musical aptitude. Areas as diverse as problem solving, risk taking, and creativity have been found to be enriched by prenatal music experiences.
But pregnant mothers don't have to constantly press a high tech device to their abdomen to keep their unborn babies stimulated. The traditional way- singing softly to the baby in your womb- may well be the best way to create a healthy baby..
I am suggesting to all mother who are in their 6 weeks of pregnancy to start singing, reading and talking while touching their womb. It's not too late to have a gifted child :)

Stressed to kill
We struggle with one stay well discipline- stress control. The most celebrated destressors - yoga, deep breathing and body spa. But further, stress is a tough enemy to emagine. Cholesterol, you can actually picture gunking up your pipes. Stress is a gueralla fighter, harder to center in the crosshairs.
If, like us, you need a bad guy to target, consider aiming at a stress hormone called cortisol. There's early evidence linking chronically high levels of the stuff- usually caused by stress- to a passel of problems, including obesity, muscle loss, diabetes, heart disease, memory fade, depression, and prostate cancer.
When you're in an acutely stressful situation, your adrenal glands release several hormones. Some make your blood surge toward the saving muscles. You'll have fuel to throw a punch or to run away like a scared rabbit. Cortisol's particular job is to make sure your blood is high octane fuel. It signals glucose, amino acids, and fatty acids to flood out your tissues and into circulation
Like most substances in our bodies, cortisol plays a gazillion roles in keeping us well. Many medicines are derived from it. And everything's just peachy if, once you've escaped from the cops, your cortisol level returns to its pre- emergency baseline. But cortisol turns from staunch defender into bad news if your levels remain too high for too long.
A sense of control over some of the stressors in your life helps. If you blast a volunteer randomly with a noise, his stress hormones rise. But if you give him a button and tell him that pressing it will decrease the likelihood of the noise, there's a smaller stress response to the same sound. Getting organized even in a small ways, may help you feel more like the captain of your ship.
People manage stress more effectively if they can believe that things are improving. So make sure you always have something you're looking forward to.
If we cans top the stumble in our heads and everyday briefly commend our complete attention to something- we may acquire the serenity, many find in formal faith.

Holy Week Good Friday @ Bala-an Bukid (Sacred Mountain)
I'm so sorry I was not here for four days, I was in my hometown, for vacation and celebrating the Holy week. I will get back to my old routine, visiting blog, drop EC, adgitizing and commenting :) Thank you to those who still visit me..
Holy Week is the last week of Lent. Holy Week is the same in the eastern and western Church, but because eastern Christians use the Julian Calendar to calculate Easter, the celebrations occur at different times. However, the following events in the week before Easter are the same, east and west, relative to the date of Easter:
We woke up at 4:30 am and walk for 1 and half hour..Some vendor are already there before the day.. There are many tourist who comes. They sleep along the road..
